I hate my 11m as much as I love my 8m.

Went for a walk first as the wind was building, got back and it was about 15kts, so 11m territory. I had about 90 mins before it got dark, so didn't bother rigging up my new bar and lines, just used the 8m ones for the 11m. BIG mistake.

Just like last time, the kite kept dropping out of the sky with dreary monotony. Or it would begin to drop then power up as it fell. I ended up wasting loadsa time reeling it all in and having to self-launch again, but at least Daz was out and gave me a hand.

The second half of the sesh was much better as the wind had increased, but I ended up downwind near the wreck and could not for the life of me get upwind. I didn't want to risk getting too close to the wreck which was necessary to get a decent 'tack' in.

We stayed out till dark just me & Daz, so in all it was a good sesh.
